Issue
The video rendering pipeline produced inconsistent output resolutions, sometimes outputting square format (2160×2160) and other times widescreen (1920×1080), leading to unpredictable aspect ratios and suboptimal playback on platforms like YouTube.
Culprit
Two separate configuration files controlled video dimensions without synchronization, causing conflicting settings. The original choice of a square format was intended to maximize vertical space for code visibility but introduced compatibility risks with common platforms and potential downgrading for non-standard formats.
Solution
The system was standardized to use 2560×1440 (QHD) resolution, which balances vertical space for tutorials while ensuring compatibility with major platforms. Configuration files were updated to enforce this standard, and FFmpeg encoding profiles were optimized for the new resolution. This eliminated inconsistency and improved playback quality across platforms.
